Southend Libraries' work with seejobclub | 17 May 2012

"seejobclub has been established to bring job seekers together, to provide a place for individuals to regain their confidence and become job ready."

Southend Libraries have recently started to work with seejob club - a new social enterprise. So far, we have established a partnership approach and hosted the first seejob club session here at the Central Library last week- numbers were small ... but we anticipate increased take-up.

Libraries are providing a free venue, access to IT/Internet , book resources, instant membership and library staff support, should it be needed. As a library we are also interested in offering other resources such Mood-Boosting and Six Book Challenge/Quick Reads etc - again if these are required.
